Applications for the 2022-2023 Local Government
Leadership Academy of Alameda County are now being accepted.


If you are interested in participating in the 2022-23 Academy,
​please contact your Supervisor or HR Representative for more information.
  


Instructions to Apply Online:

1. Applicant must discuss this professional development opportunity with his/her supervisor and receive both supervisor and Chief Executive Approval. 

2. Employee must complete the application and the following essay question: 
  • What would you like to learn by participating in the Leadership Academy, and what will be of value to you and your agency?

3. Employee agrees to the "Applicant Commitment".

    Coaches

    Please answer the following questions regarding coach preferences. Your answers will be considered during the coach and participant pairings, but is not a guarantee. Coaches and participants are matched at the discretion of each participant's agency. 
    Please upload a PDF document which includes your resume as well as a response to the following essay question. Please keep your response to no more than one (1) page.

    Applicant Commitment
    By submitting your application you agree that you have read the Leadership Academy program description, agree to attend all monthly sessions, commit to 2-4 hours of additional work per month, and to fully participate in the program.
